We came here for dinner and had the lobster salad (really good), French fries, steak fillet with black pepper sauce (good), a risotto that was simply divine, and a delicious sea bass. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The place was quite busy, so service was a little slow at times, but the staff did their best to stay attentive and responsive.

A classic Milanese restaurant in the heart of the Brera neighborhood. We came for dinner and had some of their classic dishes such as Milanese schnitzel, truffle risotto, sea bass and of course tiramisu. Highly recommended

Stendhal Milano? Oh honey, it’s where tradition puts on lipstick and orders champagne. The risotto alla milanese is pure velvet—golden, buttery, and absolutely unapologetic about being the star of the show. The burrata? Creamy, seductive, and frankly illegal in some countries for being that good. The vibe screams Milanese chic—classy without trying too hard—and the service makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Pricey? Sure. But for a night of culinary flirtation in the heart of Brera, worth every euro and every calorie.

Excellent dinner experience. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was served at the perfect temperature and was just magnificent. Recommend their signature dishes for a more local experience with flavors. Meat was perfectly cooked and drink options are plenty. Price is a bit higher in Milano than other areas in Italy so it’s expected to see that on their menu but it’s worth it. Portions are quite good size. Noticed some people wrote on reviews than they undercooked risotto or pasta, they don’t, maybe it’s just you have eaten in other places where they overcooked it instead or you’re following the instructions in your pasta package which are leading you to overcook your pasta or risotto, but here they cook it perfectly al dente, how it’s supposed to be! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Milano local food. Reserve in advance as it gets busy. Staff will be busy of course, but do not hesitate to make a sign and they will kindly go to your seat and help you.

The owner is always there, smiling, greeting his guests. He was particularly nice to me and discussed visiting my country with such grace. I have visited this restaurant several times. You cannot go wrong with traditional dishes like the milanese escalope or the osso buco, but you can also enjoy a simple pasta pomodoro. Highly recommended.

Came here in search of an authentic Milanese meal and it was amazing!! We ordered the saffron risotto (without the ossobuco) and the veal Milanese to share - wow it was soo good. We walked in without a reservation and they were so nice to find us a last minute table and let us grab a drink at the bar while we waited for the table to clear up. Highly recommend for an authentic meal in Milan

The food was extraordinary. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to during my eleven day trip to Italy. I want to thank the waiters Ousmane and Adrian who walked me through the menu helping with the selections 1-Zucchini flowers and eggplant parm. 2-Tonnarello ragu 3-Osso Buco 4- tiramisu. One dish better than the other. And of course the wine selection. If you visit Milan in Brerra you must go to this restaurant and aske for these servers you won’t be disappointed

Incredible food. Well balanced, tasty, served at perfect temperature. I would stick to their signature dishes. Bread served was old and dried out (all 4 pieces), but I still forgive them :) Servers work hard, but there aren’t many of them, so hard to get their attention. Can’t wait to come back again.
